custom home build matching existing architectural style of the Leaside neighbourhood

This project took approx. 10 months to complete. It was a very challenging project that began with the demolition of an existing bungalow. During excavation, we discovered an underground stream that created several issues. In coordination with our consultants, we decide to place the entire foundation on 14 caissons (concrete stilts that are embedded deep underground).

Mobilizing large drilling equipment, excavation machines and material delivery trucks was very difficult as the homes in this area are spaced close to each other. The customer wanted this home to match the existing architectural style of the neighbourhood. Materials: brick exterior finish, Pella aluminum clad windows, granite countertops, engineered hardwood flooring, solid wood trim including crown moulding.
