HOme renovation & addition in Burlington, Ontario

This was a very complicated but interesting project involving many structural challenges.

This included the reconfiguration and renovation of an existing kitchen, mud room, powder room and living room.

The addition consisted of extensive new basement space (gym, office, rec room) under new large screened in porch, new 4 season sun room off of kitchen with large fireplace

• modern farmhouse type style;
• lowered a large portion of the existing basement which involved underpinning and bench footings;
• removed 2 large sections of the existing foundation which involved supporting the loads above with structural needle pinning, temporary beams and shoring posts.
